- FIDE Rating:
- The tournament will be FIDE rated.
- Tournament organizers will follow FIDE rules and regulations regarding rating calculations and reporting.
- Conduct and Fair Play:
- Participants are expected to adhere to fair play and good sportsmanship.
- Any form of cheating or unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
- The arbiters’ decisions regarding disputes or violations will be final
- Time Control:
- Each player will have 3 minutes for the entire game, with an additional 2 seconds increment per move.
- The clock will be started simultaneously for all players in each round.
- Tiebreaks:
- In case of a tie in the final scores, tiebreak criteria will include:
- Direct Encounter (if applicable)
- Performance Rating
- Sonneborn-Berger
- Cumulative
- Buchholz Cut 1
